I arrived and they quickly taught me how to operate the boat, very detail and patient.
Simply put, very good operator. I enjoyed the boat very much and great experience ! It was an excellent trip !
The boat itself was nice, was well-equipped with safety equipment, and ran well. We're long time boaters and were very pleased with the equipment.
We started out going south to view the old town from the water and then headed back north along the coast. As others have said the water and scenery is great and I can't imagine fighting traffic and hot weather up the coastline instead of doing this.
We ended-up at a Taverna Agni on the north side where they help you dock and tie-up your boat while you have lunch. We didn't have reservations, so we had a table in the back, but the views and food were fabulous. We split a carafe of their house white wine (sparkling) which was wonderful as were our entrees.
One note to future cruisers doing this...while the small local marina is walkable from the cruise port, you have to walk in the opposite direction quite a ways just to exit the port before doubling-back along the road towards the marina. While it's probably 10 minutes to walk between the two closest points, from the time you get off the ship, catch a shuttle bus to the cruise terminal, walk in the opposite direction and then finally along the road to the marina, all that may take 50 minutes. Or, you could take a cab from the cruise terminal.
